The aim of this paper is to integrate the ideal learning style with individual learning preferences in improving the way of learning a programming subject. The study proposes a learning style model based on a human approach to perform a task, and human emotional responses to enable learning to be oriented according to a preferred method. The learning style defines the basic learning preference to make the assessment. A prototype, Learning Style Inventory System (LSIS) was developed to discover an individual learning style and recommend how to manipulate the learning skill.
