Topik serangan cyberterror anti Islam dalam Facebook “Murtads from Malaysia and Singapore”

The rapid growth of ICT establishes the cyberspace as a dynamic medium to attack Islam to the extent of hurting the feeling and emotion. This kind of attack can be classified as cyber terror because the damage were occurred even though it is in non-physical form. “Murtads in Malaysia and Singapore” is a page on Facebook that can be associated with cyber terrorism since it consists of excessive force in a variety of ways to discredit Islam. Thus, the main objective of this study is to examine the themes of attacks in this Facebook page that can be classified as “cyber terrorism”. This is a case study that uses the content analysis to analyse postings in this Facebook page. The sample consists of 168 postings from March until April 2013. The studies found that the topic of “Islam encourages terror” gets 3.6%, “the cruelty of the Islamic laws” gets 19%, “the humiliation on Islam” 44.6%, “the humiliation on Allah” gets 20.8%, “the humiliation on al-Quran” gets 8.9% and “the humiliation on Rasulullah” gets 3.0%.
