  • SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

    File:

Jurnal Intelek publishes articles concerned with knowledge development in various disciplines. Irrespective of the areas (research papers, literature papers, technical papers, conceptual papers and general views, manuscripts from disciplines such as accounting; business management, economics and banking; sports science, applied science, computer science and mathematics, architecture, planning and surveying and engineering), all are welcome.

THERE IS NO PAGE CHARGE, provided the manuscript length, and number and figures are reasonable.

    Language
Manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Melayu. English written manuscripts should conform to standard rules of English grammar and style. Either British or American spelling may be used, but consistently throughout the article.

    Editorial Policy
Submitted manuscripts will first be checked for language, presentation and style. Authors who use English as a foreign language are strongly recommended to have their manuscript read by the English-speaking colleague. Manuscripts which are substandard in these respects will be returned without review.

Articles which conform to journal aims and scope are sent to at least 2 referees, mostly through a member of the editorial board and invited reviewers. Manuscripts returned to authors with referee reports should be revised and sent back to the editorial as soon as possible. Final decisions on acceptance or rejection are made by the editor-in-chief.

Jurnal Intelek endeavours to publish any articles within 6 months of acceptance. However, the number of volumes to be published is twice per annum for at least 8-10 articles in every volume.

Please note that revised manuscripts will be treated as a new submission if they are not submitted within 3 months of the date of the initial decision.

    Manuscript submission
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright-holder.

Figures, tables or pictures that have already publishes elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both printed and online version and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their articles. Any materials received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

    Permission
Inclusion of figures, tables, text passages that have already published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both printed and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any materials received without evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
