    2. The manuscript for publication in the Journal should be sent to the Editor as an attachment (in Word) by email to: mjes@um.edu.my. The submission must be sent through an official email address of the institution that the corresponding author is attached to.

This statement must also declare that all named authors have contributed to the preparation of the manuscript and agreed to the submission.

    4. All submissions must adhere to the ethics in publishing, in particular the avoidance of plagiarism. Manuscripts are subject to a double blind review process.

    5. The contents of the manuscripts shall be the sole responsibility of the authors and publication does not imply the concurrence of the Editorial Board or the publishers.

    6. Manuscripts should be typewritten with double spacing. A manuscript should be divided into sections with short titles or subtitles. All pages should be numbered consecutively.

    7. The first page of the manuscript should contain: (i) the title of paper, and (ii) the name, institutional affiliation (with full address) and official email address of all the author(s).

    8. Acknowledgements and information on grants received should also be given in a footnote on the first page of the manuscript, which should not be included in the consecutive numbering of footnotes.

    9. Important formulae (displayed) should be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript as (1), (2), etc. on the right-hand side of the page. Where the derivation of the formulae has been abbreviated, it is of great help to referees if the full derivation can be presented on a separate sheet (not to be published).

    11. References to the publications should follow APA referencing style. References should be typed after the text, and should include only the most relevant papers cited in the text. In the text, references to publication should appear as follows: … Brown (1969) … or … Jones (1969, p. 102) … or (Brown & Jones, 1972) … The author should make sure that there is a strict ‘one-to-one correspondence’ between the names (years) in the text and those on the list. The complete references should be listed alphabetically after the text as:
